Exploring a deeper connection to spiritual aspects of life while trying to keep a festive and joyful attitude about me yields some interesting results. I am quite pleased with the technical progress as well as the overall composition however it seems like there is something that still needs to be included; maybe someone can offer some suggestions.

This is another track that I threw together using the lyrics provided by my mate delboy.
As always, enjoy!

It’s been over a month since the last posting on this site. It has not been over a month since I did any work. Me and my entourage have been busy, traveling and yes, making art. Here are some of the recent things that have happened.
From the small Moleskine:
Trees marching in formation of a flying wedge, appear to break through the wall of ugly that reality throws up too often.
Sitting in Washington Square Park on a sunny summer afternoon yielded a lovely vision of joy and peace.
Flying in aplane and the landscape below unfolded a vision of mountains rising up froom the bottom of a lake.
Getting closer and closer to the mountains that exist just on the horizon.
Mountains just out of easy reach, hanging out and waiting, beckoning for one to go get them.
I have some other works that need to be reported, but this will have to do for now.

Today, My friend invited my and my assistant over to the Chelsea Artist Space that he is currently using. We went through the local galleries to see what counts for contemporary works. There were some things we enjoyed and some other things which we thought best served as an example of either “pure brilliance or complete idiocy.” NOTE: that is not an actual attributable quote that can be traced any further than the author of this post.
Then, once fed, and coffeed, and back in the space, some terrible music was put on the music box and the paintings began.
My personal attention has been on rediscovering watercolor techniques and building my skills, so I chose to work off a composition which should be better sourced to the exact flickr account [if I get off my lazy seat I'll put the link here.] All in all, I’m quite pleased with the results, mostly because I was not struggling with composition and was only dealing with brush and paint application technique.

My assistant fell asleep which gave me a good model for some quick photography. These can latter be turned into compositions for some paintings, I’ll get to those soon enough and then you’ll see them at that point.
